Buggy

A scouting vehicle that includes an internal battery, 2 small slots, and provides oxygen.
Very low power draw while active.
Overview
The Buggy is a small, single-seat rover built for quick travel and tight terrain. Compared with larger rovers, it is much easier to maneuver, uses very little power, and can climb very steep inclines, including mountains. Its compact size also makes it useful in large cave systems, where larger vehicles are harder to handle.
A Buggy has one Tier-2 attachment slot and two Tier-1 attachment slots, but the Tier-2 slot must be used in order to drive it. Because it only has Tier-1 storage space available for loose cargo, larger items such as research objects cannot be carried directly on board. A

The Buggy’s internal battery has four segments, each lasting 32 seconds. On its own, this gives it a short operating time, so long-distance travel is best supported by an attached power source. Any Tier-1 power generator is sufficient, including the

Because the Buggy is so power efficient, it is one of the best vehicles for low-cost exploration and short-range scouting. It is faster and easier to control than the

- The Buggy lacks cable ports, so it cannot be chained with other rovers or connected directly to networked power.
- It can be used as a source of unlimited oxygen while driving.
- It is the most power-efficient vehicle in the game.
- Its lack of cable connections makes it best suited to solo travel rather than rover trains.
- Since it has only Tier-1 storage available during use, careful packing is important when transporting equipment.
