Conductive Wire

Overview

Conductive Wire is the cleaner-looking version of the standard power wire. Its main distinction, as reflected in Duplicant opinion, is visual rather than functional: Duplicants prefer the appearance of Conductive Wire over the ragged look of regular Wire. For bases where exposed infrastructure matters, it serves the same basic role while fitting in more neatly with finished rooms and carefully designed layouts.

Because its appeal is aesthetic, Conductive Wire is most useful anywhere power lines must remain visible. It is a straightforward upgrade in presentation when compared with ordinary Wire, especially in living spaces, corridors, and other areas that benefit from a more polished look. If a base is being built for efficiency and appearance at the same time, replacing obvious stretches of standard wiring with Conductive Wire helps the installation feel less improvised.

  • Duplicants like the look of Conductive Wire more than regular Wire.
  • It is the refined visual counterpart to standard power wiring.
  • It is best used where exposed wires would otherwise make the base look untidy.
  • Its value comes from presentation, not from any special behavior mentioned in the source material.
