Farm Station

Overview

Farm Station is a building that affects crop growth, but only for plants grown inside the same room as the station. If a crop is outside that room, the station provides no benefit to it, even if it is nearby.

This makes room planning important when using a Farm Station. To get any value from it, the farm and the station must be placed so they share the same enclosed room. A station placed in one room will not help crops in another room, so mixed layouts or split farms can easily leave part of your production unaffected.

  • The effect is limited to crops grown within the same room.
  • Crops in a different room receive no benefit.
  • The building’s usefulness depends on careful room design rather than simple proximity.

Because of this restriction, the Farm Station is best used in compact farm setups where the station can be placed directly alongside the crops it is meant to support. When planning large agricultural areas, it is worth checking room boundaries first so the station does not end up serving only a portion of the farm.
