Hexalent Fruit

Overview

Practical notes and tips:
- Use
Hexalent Fruit as a high-density emergency food reserve: each print yields 2 units (12,800 kcal), making it extremely compact relative to other food sources.
- Harvest Hexalent Roots directly in the Forest biome to obtain fruit naturally; printed fruit functions as an alternative when natural harvesting is unavailable.
- Store printed
Hexalent Fruit in a food storage (preferably refrigerated if long-term preservation is desired) to prevent spoilage, and mark storage priorities so Duplicants draw from it in emergencies.
- Since printing pods produce only small stacks per use, rely on them for supplementing supplies rather than long-term sustained feeding unless you plan repeated prints.
- Be mindful of travel and access when harvesting forest tiles: Hexalent Roots require duplicant access into the biome, and enclosing regions in certain biomes (notably Space) can permit unintended flying paths for Duplicants unless regolith or solid tiles block those routes.
