Jawbo Fillet is a food item that can be cooked in a Smoker. One batch uses 6000 kcal of Jawbo Fillet and produces 11,200 kcal of smoked food with +3 food quality. The result is described as a buttery smoked fish fillet that flakes easily when pulled apart with a fork.

It also has a ranching use: Jawbo Fillet can be fed to Hatches or Sage Hatches to produce Coal. This makes it a possible food source for converting excess fillets into a ranchable resource instead of consuming them directly.

Jawbo itself is a predator that eats live Pacu, and unlike some other fish, it always succeeds at catching its prey. However, Jawbo only gains happiness from eating at a Fish Feeder, so eating live prey reduces its egg output significantly.
