Goat Milk

Goat Milk is an animal product obtained from a Goat using a Milk Pail. A Goat produces one Goat Milk every two days if it has been fed on the previous days. When a goat has sufficiently high friendship and mood, it can produce a Large Goat Milk instead, which is more valuable.

Goat Milk is used as an ingredient in artisan and crafting-related systems. It can be processed in a Cheese Press to make Goat Cheese. Regular Goat Milk always produces regular-quality Goat Cheese, while Large Goat Milk always produces gold-quality Goat Cheese, so the milk’s own quality does not affect the result. Goat Cheese can then be aged in Casks to increase its quality further.

It also has a few other uses outside of the barn:

• Ten Milk items of any size, including Goat Milk and Large Goat Milk, are used in one Community Center bundle.
• Goat Milk can be used in the Sewing Machine with Cloth in the feed to create a clothing item.
• When used in the Sewing Machine with a dyeable clothing item in the feed, it acts as a white dye.
• If placed on a table or long table on Winter 24, it will be exchanged overnight for a Mystery Box as part of a secret event. This works the same way for other types of Milk as well.

Because Goat Milk can come in both normal and large forms, it is often worth paying attention to a goat’s friendship and mood if you want higher-value milk on a regular basis. Large Goat Milk is especially useful when making Goat Cheese, since it guarantees gold quality without needing to rely on the milk’s own quality.
