Chocolate Cake

Chocolate Cake is a cooked dish that can be prepared in the kitchen inside an upgraded farmhouse or with a Cookout Kit. It has an edibility value of 60 and sells for 200g. The recipe is profitable when made with the lowest-quality Egg, Wheat Flour, and Sugar from the Mill, since the finished cake will always sell for more than those ingredients cost.

It can also appear outside of cooking: Chocolate Cake may show up in Krobus’ shop on Saturdays, in the garbage can outside the Stardrop Saloon, in the Stardrop Saloon’s rotating stock, or as a reward from opening a Mystery Box. It is also required for Haley’s Cake-Walk quest during her 14-Heart event.

Chocolate Cake has a few utility uses beyond being sold or eaten:

• It is not used in any bundles.
• It can be placed in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create clothing.
• It can be used in dyeing as an orange dye item at the dye pots in Emily and Haley’s house at 2 Willow Lane.
