Shearing Station

Shearing Station is a critter interaction building used to collect resources from fully grown Dreckos and Glossy Dreckos. Once the creature’s scales or quills have finished growing, a Duplicant with the Critter Ranching skill can call it to the station and shear it, much like interacting with a Grooming Station.

The building does not produce anything on its own; it exists to support ranching by turning mature critters into a renewable source of their shearing products. Since the critters will not shear themselves, keeping them in an active ranch and returning them to the station when ready is the core loop of using it effectively.

• Only mature critters can be sheared.
• A Duplicant must be able to ranch critters to use the station.
• It is used for Dreckos and Glossy Dreckos.
• The station functions as a targeted ranching utility rather than a general-purpose room building.
