Bouldorb

Overview

Bouldorbs travel in straight lines toward the player and interact with pegs and other orbs according to standard physics for enemy projectiles. They are notable for dealing damage on contact consistent with other enemy orbs, and their appearance signals an incoming solid obstacle that can change the angle and outcomes of shots. Bouldorbs do not grant the player any positive effects when struck; instead they function as hazards that must be avoided or mitigated.
- Bouldorbs behave like typical enemy orbs: they collide with the player and pegs, altering shot trajectories and potentially blocking access to beneficial pegs.
- Because they occupy a predictable straight path, players can plan angles to bypass or redirect them, or use force-multiplying effects (such as explosive or ricochet mechanics available from items and pegs) to remove or neutralize them indirectly.
- Bouldorbs are identified visually and by sound cues in the same manner as other enemy orbs, allowing experienced players to anticipate their presence and adjust shots accordingly.
