Overview

Duck (And Cover) is a passive effect that grants Ballusion (a stackable illusion buff) each time the player evades an attack. It appears as an on-hit defensive augmentation: whenever an incoming attack is avoided, the effect adds a fixed number of Ballusion stacks to the caster, increasing the chance to evade further attacks or enabling synergy with cards and relics that interact with Ballusion.

Ballusion provided by Duck (And Cover) is applied immediately after the evasion trigger. The amount per trigger is given by the effect value {[DUCK_DODGE]}. Ballusion is a temporary, stackable status whose primary interaction is with mechanics that reference "幻影" / Ballusion to cause automatic dodges or other illusion-related effects. Because the buff is granted only when an attack is successfully evaded, Duck (And Cover) amplifies defensive playstyles that already generate occasional evades rather than preventing the first hit on its own.
