Instigatorb

Instigatorb is a Peglin modifier that alters the visual effect of the next orb fired by the player. It is encountered as a passive effect during runs and does not change orb mechanics or damage values; its function is purely cosmetic. The name derives from the English word "instigator," reflecting a playful naming convention rather than a mechanical implication.

When Instigatorb is active, the next orb the player shoots adopts the particle effects normally associated with the Echorb. This visual substitution applies only to the immediate subsequent orb; subsequent shots revert to their usual effects unless Instigatorb is applied again. Because the change is cosmetic, it does not interact with orb-specific behaviors, multipliers, or enemy reactions beyond what Echorb particles visually suggest.

• Instigatorb triggers on the next fired orb only and then expires.
• The effect is visual: no changes to damage, bounce count, or special orb functionality occur.
• If combined with other effects that change orb visuals, Instigatorb will replace the standard particle effect with Echorb’s for that single shot.
