Splitnir the Storming

Splitnir the Storming is an enchanted spear variant that upgrades the regular Splitnir with lightning damage. It is a piercing weapon with a flat 10 lightning damage added to its attacks, and its special effect gives it a 25% chance to trigger chain lightning that jumps to nearby enemies and deals the same lightning damage.

Its base pierce damage and durability scale with quality, while the lightning damage remains unchanged across upgrades:

• Quality 1: 135 pierce, 10 lightning, 100 durability
• Quality 2: 141 pierce, 10 lightning, 150 durability
• Quality 3: 147 pierce, 10 lightning, 200 durability
• Quality 4: 153 pierce, 10 lightning, 250 durability

Crafting and upgrading require flametal and Iolite:

• Quality 1: 1 Splitnir, 6 Flametal, 1 Iolite
• Quality 2: 6 Flametal, 1 Iolite
• Quality 3: 12 Flametal, 2 Iolite
• Quality 4: 18 Flametal, 3 Iolite

Enchantment resets any upgrades on the normal spear, so making Splitnir the Storming replaces the base item’s improvement level rather than preserving it.
