Skoll and Hati

Skoll and Hati is a dual-wielded weapon in Valheim, designed for aggressive close-range combat. It is named after the mythic wolves Sköll and Hati from Norse mythology, and its flavor and design tie into that theme. The weapon uses paired blades and focuses on fast chained attacks rather than heavy single hits.

Its main attack is a three-hit combo, with the third strike dealing double damage. The secondary attack is a jumping strike that deals triple damage, and attacks against unaware enemies deal 6x damage, making it especially effective for opening ambushes.

Upgrade and crafting requirements scale as follows:

• Quality 1: 4 Finewood, 10 Iron, 10 Black Metal
• Quality 2: 4 Iron, 4 Black metal
• Quality 3: 8 Iron, 8 Black metal
• Quality 4: 12 Iron, 12 Black metal

Its damage and durability values increase with quality:

• Quality 1: 45 slash, 45 pierce, 200 durability
• Quality 2: 46 slash, 46 pierce, 250 durability
• Quality 3: 47 slash, 47 pierce, 300 durability
• Quality 4: 48 slash, 48 pierce, 350 durability

The weapon’s strongest use case is in burst damage and surprise attacks. Because the secondary attack leaps forward, it helps close distance quickly, while the stealth bonus rewards setting up fights on your own terms.
