The Black metal battleaxe is a heavy two-handed weapon designed for fighting groups of enemies. Its main attack is a three-hit combo that hits multiple targets without penalty, with the final strike dealing double damage and increased stun. It can also be used as a woodcutting tool, making it useful both in combat and while gathering resources.

Its alternate attack is a quick forward thrust that deals half damage and stuns the target. In practice, this makes the weapon feel more flexible than a pure cleaving weapon: the primary attack is the stronger option for clustered enemies, while the secondary attack can be used to start a combo or to poke safely before committing to the full chain.
