Overview

Exor Cha is a hostile Exor variant encountered in Abiotic Factor, first appearing in Village Den da'ko Yeer. Like other Exors, it has the familiar humanoid Exor body plan, but it is visually distinct thanks to its vivid, almost neon coloration. It most closely resembles the Exor Monk, though its right arm is not replaced by an integrated weapon; instead, it fights with an Exor Spear.

In combat, Exor Cha is significantly more dangerous than earlier Exor types. It combines spear melee attacks with teleportation and a psychic energy beam, and it has more than twice the health of an Exor, putting it above even an Alpha Peccary in durability. Exor Cha is highly mobile and constantly attempts to sidestep attacks, teleporting away and reappearing beside or behind its target to set up flanks and stabs. Because several of them can patrol in groups near other enemies in the village, early encounters are especially lethal. Like Exor Monks, it is most vulnerable while channeling its beam attack, making that the safest time to punish it with heavy-hitting weapons such as the Magbow or the Impact Hammer, particularly if it is already wounded.

Exor Cha can be found wandering or standing stationary. Its aggressive teleportation makes ranged fights awkward, since it can close distance instantly and break spacing before the player can react.

The GATE Compendium identifies Exor Cha as IS-0184-D and warns that it must be kept in geomagnetically isolated conditions with a permanent fail-safe backup power connection. It also notes that perforation-suppressive measures must be maintained within 20 meters, and that the entity must be kept away from sticks, branches, short poles, pikes, long-handled tools, or any other implement it could use as a weapon.
