Metal Block

Metal Block is a decorative building used for sculpting. Unlike ordinary decor furniture, it can be built from refined metals and gains additional decor depending on the material used. Copper grants a +20% decor bonus, while Gold and Niobium both grant +50%.

Its decor effect radiates from all three tiles of the structure, which makes placement important. Because the bonus is applied to the finished object, a masterfully sculpted Metal Block can outperform a similarly upgraded Granite Marble Block: a Masterpiece Metal Block made with Gold or Niobium reaches 52.5 decor, compared to 42 decor for a Masterpiece Granite Marble Block, with a comparable effective radius. Since two Metal Blocks can fit in the space of one Marble Block, Metal Block is generally the better choice once refined metals are available.

• Gold and Niobium are the best construction materials for maximizing decor.
• The full three-tile radius means it is most effective when placed where duplicants will pass nearby.
