Mauliflower’s effect is a simple counter: every time a set number of critical hits occurs, the holder gains a fixed number of Spinesse. Concretely, after every [CRITS_PER_SPINESSE_GAIN] critical strikes, the owner receives [NUM_SPINESSE_GAIN_FOR_CRITS] stacks of Spinesse. This applies regardless of the source of the criticals (weapon, orb effects, or other abilities) as long as they are counted as crits by the game’s event system.
