Toadstool

Toadstool is a consumable item that applies a strong nausea effect when eaten. Rather than behaving like a normal food, it immediately removes the character’s currently active food effects and replaces them with a debuff that makes the player feel sick.

While the effect is active, movement speed is heavily reduced and periodic healing is lowered by 100%. It also steadily drops the character’s health to the standard 25 health threshold. The nausea lasts 15 seconds, and any food eaten during that time is wasted because it will not provide its normal benefit. For that reason, it is best to wait until the effect ends before consuming new food.
