Needle Arrow

Needle arrow is a high-tier arrow ammunition used with bows. It is unlocked after obtaining a Needle and is crafted at a Workbench. It is made in batches of 20, cannot be upgraded, and deals pierce damage.

Its recipe is notable for being resource-efficient compared with most other arrows because it does not require wood. Crafting one batch requires 4 Needle and 2 Feathers, and the Workbench must be level 4. Needle arrows are therefore a strong late-game option once the player can reliably gather Needles and Feathers.

Needle arrows deal 62 pierce damage, with 62 stagger damage and 15 knockback, making them one of the harder-hitting arrow types. They are especially useful when raw damage matters more than ammunition abundance. Since they scale as finished arrows rather than an upgraded weapon, their value comes from access to the recipe and the strength of the materials rather than from further improvement.

Needles are generally associated with dangerous late-game enemies, so producing these arrows usually requires fighting well-equipped foes and having strong armor and/or good reflexes. They can also be found randomly in chests, which gives occasional access to them even before crafting becomes practical.
