Needle

Needle is a crafting material obtained by killing deathsquitos in the Plains. It is one of the late-game drops from that biome and is used mainly in high-tier crafting.

Its primary uses are in two recipes:

• Needle Arrow, crafted at a workbench at level 4, using 4 Needle and 2 Feathers for 20 arrows.
• Porcupine, crafted at a forge at level 4.

Because deathsquitos are fast and dangerous, collecting Needle is usually safest once you are prepared for Plains combat. The item itself has no use on a workbench or forge outside of these recipes, so most players save it for arrow production or the Porcupine weapon.
