Ooze

Rotten and putrid-smelling. Why do you want this?
Overview
Ooze is a crafting material obtained primarily from blobs and oozers in the

Blobs are a reliable source of Ooze, while oozers also drop scrap iron alongside it. Oozers yield 2 Ooze at 0 stars, 4 Ooze at 1 star, and 8 Ooze at 2 stars, making starred versions especially valuable. There is also a small chance to get Ooze by fishing on the shores of the Mistlands and in the
Ooze is used at multiple crafting stations:
Ooze Bomb at a workbench
Poison Arrow at a workbench
Muckshake at a cauldron
Because it is consumed in both ammunition and food, it is worth collecting more Ooze than you think you need. Poison arrows make it a practical resource for players relying on ranged combat, while Ooze bombs provide a thrown area-effect option for crowd control. Muckshake is a low-tier food that uses only one Ooze, plus raspberries and blueberries, so even a modest supply can be turned into a useful early Swamp meal.
In practice, the best way to stockpile Ooze is to clear Swamp spawns regularly and target oozers when they appear, since their drops scale with star level. If you are already fishing in Mistlands or the Ocean, any bonus Ooze you get there can help reduce the need to farm blobs later.
