Monster Training

Overview

The relic's trigger frequency scales with low maximum health: having a lower max HP makes

Practical considerations and play patterns:
- Prioritize builds that deliberately keep max HP low (through items, curses, or choices that reduce/maximize risk) if you intend to rely on
Monster Training as a core synergy.
- Avoid picking up relics or powers that increase your maximum health after obtaining
Monster Training; such increases directly diminish its effectiveness by changing the threshold that controls activation.
- If your deck or strategy depends on consistent activation of
Monster Training, treat other health-related relics and bonuses as trade-offs rather than free upgrades.
- Because the relic's behavior is tied to max HP rather than current HP, temporary healing or damage does not alter its activation chance unless it changes the maximum value itself.
