Overview

Navigationflation is a passive effect that increases the gold value of coins collected while choosing a route between encounters (the navigation phase). While active, every coin_only collected during navigation is converted into additional gold equal to a fixed multiplier value, displayed in-game as {[INC_NAV_GOLD]}. The effect applies only during the route-selection movement after a combat ends, not during normal in-battle coin pickups.

Navigationflation interacts directly with the game's navigation coins and route rewards. When coins of the coin_only type are picked up on the navigation map, each coin grants an extra {[INC_NAV_GOLD]} gold (that is, the displayed coin count is multiplied by {[INC_NAV_GOLD]} to determine the gold granted). This behavior is consistent across English, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese localizations: the descriptions in those files all state that each coin collected during route choice is worth {[INC_NAV_GOLD]} gold.

Practical notes and interactions:

  • Navigationflation only affects coin_only pickups encountered during the post-battle route-selection phase; it does not modify coin gains during combat.
  • The exact numeric value of {[INC_NAV_GOLD]} is provided by the game's data for the specific instance of the effect and determines the gold-per-coin conversion.
  • Navigationflation stacks with other effects that change the number of coin_only pickups (for example, map modifiers or relics that add extra coins to routes), since it multiplies the value of each coin actually collected.
  • It does not alter other navigation rewards (such as fixed gold caches or chest contents) unless those rewards are explicitly implemented as coin_only pickups in the navigation stage.
  • Because the effect triggers only while selecting routes after battles, planning route choices to pass through coin nodes becomes more valuable whenever Navigationflation is present.
