Operator Level
Overview
The Operator Level is the number shown in the top half of the Operator tab. It is specific to each savegame and increases by one each time a goal line level is completed. Each goal line's level is independent, so completing levels on one goal line does not affect the level of other goal lines.
Next to the Operator Level is a shape badge. The shape badge is purely cosmetic and delivering that shape to the
The number of shapes required to complete a goal line increases exponentially with level. The game computes the required amount using a formula that applies a growth percentage per level to a starting amount, rounds the result to the nearest hundred, and caps the value below the 32-bit limit used by the game. Because the formula is used to calculate the cost to unlock the next level, a goal line cannot ask for more than 2,147,482,600 shapes for a single level.
A percentage Ranking is shown under the Operator Level when certain conditions are met. The ranking number is only displayed if it is below 50% and if cheats have not been used in the savegame. The ranking is computed from the Operator Level using an exponential formula; as a result the ranking begins to be shown at level 16 and it reaches 0.000000% (displayed as such) starting from level 902.
Rewards for completing Operator Levels vary. The rewards depend on the Goal Multiplier, the Copy/Paste Cost, and the Platform Limit settings chosen through the Difficulty menu. If Copy/Paste is set to free or the Platform Limit is unlimited, the corresponding rewards will not be shown or awarded.
- Operator Level increments by one each time any goal line level is completed; goal line levels are independent from each other.
- The shape badge beside the level is cosmetic only and follows the Scenario’s defined list; if the level exceeds the list length the last badge is reused.
- Two random goal lines (Random Operator Shapes) generate per-level shapes deterministic to the savegame seed and advance automatically when fulfilled.
- Required shape counts grow exponentially by a formula using a starting amount and a growth percent per level; values are rounded to the nearest hundred and capped under the game’s 32-bit limit.
- The Operator Ranking appears only when below 50% and when cheats are not used; it becomes visible at level 16 and is shown as 0.000000% from level 902 onward.
- Rewards for level completion depend on Goal Multiplier, Copy/Paste Cost, and Platform Limit; free copy/paste or unlimited platforms remove associated rewards.
