Dehydrator

The Dehydrator is a processing machine that turns certain crops and mushrooms into preserved goods. It works with five mushrooms of the same kind, except Red Mushroom, or five fruits of the same type and quality. The processed item is produced the next morning.

It can make three products:

• Dried Mushrooms from 5 of any mushroom except Red Mushroom
• Dried Fruit from 5 of any fruit except Grapes
• Raisins from 5 Grapes

Dried Mushrooms and Dried Fruit retain the usual category-based value of their ingredients, with their sell prices based on the base price of the input items. They also restore energy and health when eaten, with Dried Mushrooms restoring 3 times the base mushroom energy and health value, and Dried Fruit restoring 3 times the base fruit energy and health value.

Raisins are the special grape product made by the Dehydrator. Unlike the other two outputs, their sell price and restorative values are not listed in the source table. Because the machine requires five items of the same type and quality for fruit inputs, it is best used on surplus harvests that are already uniform, while mushrooms are more flexible and can be processed regardless of quality as long as they are not Red Mushrooms.
