Triple Shot Espresso is a cooked drink that can be made in the kitchen of an upgraded farmhouse or on a Cookout Kit. To cook it, the player must first buy the recipe from the Stardrop Saloon. It is a high-value consumable with a sell price of 450g and an edibility of 3.
When consumed, Triple Shot Espresso grants +1 Speed for 4m 12s. This speed boost also applies to the player’s horse. As a drink, its buff stacks with food buffs, including Speed, but it replaces any other drink buff, such as those from Coffee, Ginger Ale, or Green Tea.
Triple Shot Espresso has a wide range of acquisition methods. It can be purchased from the Desert Trader in exchange for a Diamond, and it may also appear for sale at the Traveling Cart, the Stardew Valley Fair, and the Feast of the Winter Star. Other sources include the Museum reward for donating 70 items, the Prize Machine, Mystery Box and Golden Mystery Box openings, and the Trout Derby festival. It can also be found in Supply Crates on the Beach Farm if the Farmhouse has been upgraded at least once. Wearing a Hot Java Ring gives monsters a chance to drop it, and it can also be received from the Desert Festival by submitting an Egg Rating of 10–54 to Gil. During SquidFest, three Triple Shot Espresso are a guaranteed gold-tier reward on the 13th.
It is not used in any bundles, quests, or crafting recipes. It can, however, be used in tailoring to create the Pour-Over Shirt at the Sewing Machine, and it can be used as an orange dye in the dye pots at Emily’s and Haley’s house.
A notable source is a secret gift from Demetrius: after hatching the first Dinosaur Egg, he gives the player a Triple Shot Espresso. This makes it one of the more unusual items tied to a progression event rather than a standard shop or reward path.
