Tick

Overview
The Tick is a small parasitic insect-like creature found in the
Ticks attack by attaching themselves to the player and biting repeatedly. Once attached, they drain blood every 0.5 seconds for 5 seconds, dealing Pierce damage each time for a total of ten hits. A successful parry forces a Tick to detach, and its attack reaches about 1 meter in a 40-degree horizontal arc. Because the hit detection is centered on the Tick itself and its body is extremely small, it can sometimes latch onto a player without actually being able to deal damage, especially if the player keeps moving.
Ticks are most threatening when they appear in groups or when the player is distracted by the Mistlands’ poor visibility. Their dark coloring and small size make them easy to overlook, so staying alert in foggy terrain is important. The creature can also appear as a starred variant, which makes it more dangerous than the normal version.
