In practice, the biome is best approached with full surface access planning, so that Duplicants can enter, collect resources, and leave without prolonged exposure.
- Frostbite is a real risk here due to the biome’s extreme cold.
- Breathable air is absent, so Atmo Suits are essentially required.
- The biome is suited to targeted extraction and brief expeditions, not casual movement.
- Adequate infrastructure should be in place before attempting to work inside it, especially for oxygen supply and temperature protection.
