Susceptiball
Overview
Susceptiball is an upgradeable orb-type entity in Peglin whose design and name emphasize vulnerability mechanics. The term "Susceptiball" is a portmanteau of "susceptible" and "ball", reflecting its role in interacting with and amplifying effects that rely on susceptibility or status changes rather than raw damage. It appears among the list of ball upgrades players can acquire between runs or as rewards, and it modifies how certain pegs and effects respond when struck.
Susceptiball alters interactions with status-based or conditional peg mechanics, making those effects more pronounced or easier to trigger. It functions as part of a build archetype that prioritizes chaining or enhancing non-damage peg outcomes (such as triggering synergy with Exploitaball-style upgrades). Players use Susceptiball to convert shots that would otherwise produce weak or inconsistent secondary effects into reliable triggers for larger combos.
- Susceptiball is named by combining "susceptible" and "ball".
- The tooltip for the Exploitaball upgrade is currently not displayed in the Susceptiball upgrade list; this display bug is expected to be fixed in a future update.
