Painbow Slimedrop

Overview
Painbow Slimedrop is an enemy variant in Peglin that represents a corrupted
When a Painbow Slimedrop is killed, it drops all previously stolen coins plus an additional amount onto the current pegboard. Players should be positioned to collect the returned coins immediately, since the sudden influx of scattered currency can change pegboard outcomes and lure attention away from other enemies. The unit’s behavior emphasizes risk–reward: leaving it alive lets it continue stealing, but killing it at the wrong time can create a chaotic coin spill.
Practical notes and strategy:
- Treat coin retrieval as part of the kill: plan your peg shots and orb effects so you can harness the returned coins rather than have them interfere with pegboard goals.
- Do not let the coin pileup distract you. Prioritize dangerous enemies and crowd control first; kill the Painbow Slimedrop when you can safely capitalize on the returned coins.
- Because the Painbow Slimedrop does not attack directly, its strategic value is mostly economic and positional rather than damage-based. Use it to generate large coin drops when you can convert that currency into meaningful upgrades or resources.
