Requite Knight

Overview

The knight uses a Lightning Rod staff to attract or nullify lightning-oriented pegs and a Mirror shield to reflect or negate returning or directional shots. Because he embodies both defensive mechanics simultaneously, he can shrug off a wide variety of orb trajectories and elemental effects that would normally punish other enemies.
The unit’s lore explains why he fails to optimize his equipment swaps: fellow soldiers repeatedly tried to teach the
- Prioritize strategies that bypass or overwhelm his combined defenses rather than relying on a single effect. Pure lightning-focused pegs or single-shot reflection strategies are frequently neutralized by his mixed resistances.
- Use sustained multi-hit sources, area damage, or peg configurations that create unavoidable collisions; his mirror and rod interactions are less effective against many small, repeated impacts.
- Mind timing: because his weapon switching is imperfect, there are windows when one of his defenses is less optimal. Observe his behavior during a run to identify exploitable patterns for that fight.
- Avoid building setups that depend on precise single-bounce shots or isolated elemental affinities; diversify damage types and shot counts to ensure at least part of your output penetrates his resistances.
