Overview

Worbhammer is an offensive orb in Peglin whose behavior resembles a thrown war hammer: it travels forward and deals damage by striking enemies along its trajectory, applying overflow (piercing) so excess damage carries on to targets behind the first hit. Its visual and name are based on a medieval war hammer, reflected in both sprite and concept.

Worbhammer excels against single high-health targets because its damage can penetrate and continue past a damaged enemy, and it also performs well versus clustered low-health enemies by cleaving through multiple foes in a line. The orb's straight-line path makes positioning important: it is most valuable when the peg layout and enemy placement align such that the orb will pass through multiple targets. Because Worbhammer continues along its trajectory after hitting, it does not home or change course to follow flying enemies; airborne foes that are not in the orb's path can therefore reduce its effectiveness. The Grabby Hand relic counteracts this weakness by altering enemy positions or interaction so that flying targets can be struck more reliably.

Practical points:

  • Use Worbhammer when you expect long, straight-line clears or when facing tanky enemies that benefit from overflow damage.
  • Aim for peg/board setups that channel the orb through multiple targets to maximize overflow value.
  • Be cautious versus waves with many flying enemies; pair Worbhammer with relics or cards (such as Grabby Hand) that mitigate or reposition flyers.
  • Combine with effects that increase orb damage or widen its effective path to boost multi-hit potential.
