Lazorb

Overview
Lazorb is an Orb in Peglin designed to pierce through many pegs by traveling in a shallow, slowly descending path. It functions best when fired nearly horizontal so that it crosses long rows of pegs and remains in play for an extended time. The Orb’s raw damage at Level 1 is low and it initially depends on striking Critical Pegs to contribute meaningful damage, but its long lifespan allows cumulative damage to outpace many other Orbs when used properly.
Players should upgrade Lazorb as soon as possible after acquiring it to reduce its reliance on Critical Pegs and to amplify its per-hit damage. Early relics that boost basic attack power—such as

Combining Lazorb with piercing or multiplier relics greatly improves its value. Piercing relics such as

Practical tips and interactions:
- Aim Lazorb almost horizontally to maximize the number of pegs it contacts as it slowly falls through the board.
- Prioritize upgrading Lazorb early; Level 1 output is dependent on Critical Pegs and upgrades make its damage consistent.
- Seek relics that add base damage or increase piercing to convert many small hits into substantial total damage.
- Use with duration-extending effects and consumables that favor prolonged orb activity to exploit its long-on-board characteristic.
- Although each hit is weak at first, Lazorb’s consistent multi-peg interaction makes it a strong scaling choice in longer fights and runs.
The name “Lazorb” is a portmanteau of “lazer” (a corruption of “laser”) and “orb,” reflecting its beam-like travel and orb form.
