Overview

Height Knight is an enemy unit that appears as a commanding warrior accompanied by a small contingent of elite soldiers. The unit is more than a single strong body: it functions as a leader who brings hand-picked subordinates into combat, so fights against it combine the threat of the knight itself with coordinated attacks from its crew. Height Knight originated as one of the earliest crystal-transformation experiments on knights and retained its intellect, making it an effective battalion leader rather than a mindless brute.

Encounters with Height Knight require careful target prioritization because the knight and its minions will often generate combined damage that can overwhelm the player if left unchecked. The unit’s behavior and presence make battlefield positioning and peg selection important to minimize incoming hits.

  • Focus first on targets that reduce incoming coordinated damage: removing the knight’s supporting soldiers often lowers the total damage output more than single-target damage-focused approaches.
  • Avoid letting multiple allies cluster where the Height Knight’s crew can exploit bounce or multi-hit mechanics to hit you repeatedly; clear lanes or use peg effects that disperse enemy actions.
  • Since Height Knight retains intelligence, its placement and movement tend to be purposeful rather than random; anticipate its role as a leader when planning which enemies to eliminate first.
  • When building a run around crowd control or protective effects, prioritize tools that mitigate burst from grouped enemies (shields, heals, or pegs that blunt multi-hit sequences).

Version notes: the unit was introduced in the beta and underwent a name change from Tall Knight to Height Knight in a later unknown update.
