Minnie the Minotaur

Overview

Combat against Minnie centers on surviving and interrupting a very powerful delayed blow. Because she occupies the fight alone, engagements are straightforward single-target encounters where timing and damage mitigation matter more than crowd control. Aim-based projectile strategies and board positioning determine how reliably you can stop or survive her attack.
- Prioritize healing or damage mitigation (for example, Ballwark or Ballusion) because her one hit deals heavy damage and can overwhelm unprepared runs.
- Use high-damage, single-target projectiles when available; since Minnie is the only monster in the encounter, focused damage yields the best value.
- When aiming power shots across the slide, target the ends of the available slide segments where shots most consistently travel; if the slide is fragmented or only small portions remain, aim for refresh tiles to maximize follow-up options.
- Avoid relying on Bouncy or Dense orbs in key shots against her, as those orb types can travel unexpected paths, skip parts of the slide, or otherwise reduce the precision needed to interrupt or kill her before she completes her swing.
- Be mindful of the board layout for each encounter—Minnie’s board places emphasis on timing the attack window and creating reliable shot lines rather than multi-target clears.
Minnie’s Encirclepedia entry and artwork depict her preparing and executing the axe attack; her health and damage values have been adjusted across versions (notably health increases and damage nerfs in past patches). The character is likely inspired by classical Minotaur myths and is presented as a lone, heavy-hitting guardian within forest labyrinths.
