Stumpy Stump

Overview

These stumps spread plants and wildlife as they trudge through the forest, making them an integral part of the forest ecosystem. Their behavior emphasizes area control: they protect allies by physically intercepting orbs and non-targeted effects, and their corpse preserves that blocking ability even after the creature is killed.
- The corpse left by a fallen
Stumpy Stump cannot move or attack and does not inherit any status effects from the living Stump.
- The corpse has 200 HP (value persists even on higher Cruciball levels) and does not need to be destroyed to finish an encounter.
- The corpse blocks non-targeting orbs and piercing orbs, shielding any enemies positioned behind it from those shots.
- Because the corpse remains on the board, killing a
Stumpy Stump does not necessarily remove its tactical impact; players must plan around the persistent blocker or deliberately destroy the stump corpse if they need line-of-fire cleared.
Stumpy Stump’s primary role is defensive: it acts as a moving shield while alive and as a stationary barrier when dead, enabling other forest enemies to act with greater safety.
