Megafrond Grain is a harvestable food ingredient produced by Megafrond. When domesticated, Megafrond produces grain every 9 cycles; when wild, it produces grain every 36 cycles. Harvesting a Megafrond yields 36 Megafrond Grain at once.

Like Sleet Wheat Grain, Megafrond Grain is not edible in its raw form and must be processed or cooked before duplicants can benefit from it. Its main value is as a versatile substitute in cold-weather and high-quality recipes. Many dishes that normally call for Sleet Wheat Grain can be made with the same amount of Megafrond Grain instead, including Frost Bun, Pepper Bread, Berry Sludge, Frost Burger, Soufflé Pancakes, Mixed Berry Pie, Fish Taco, and Shellfish Tempura.

• Megafrond Grain can replace Sleet Wheat Grain in the listed recipes without changing the intended ingredient count.
• It does not replace Sleet Wheat Grain in the Microbe Musher recipe for Brackene; that process still requires Sleet Wheat Grain.
