Overview
Mushroom is a wild edible item found growing on the ground in the

As a food item, Mushroom can be eaten directly and restores 15 health and 15 stamina over 10 minutes. It is also a useful early- and mid-game crafting ingredient, appearing in several cauldron recipes and in workshop progression. It is used in:
Mushrooms are also required for the
Beyond cooking, Mushroom can be fed to hungry boars to start taming, continue the taming process, or support breeding. This makes it one of the most practical early-game items to stockpile if a player plans to raise boars. Because mushrooms respawn on a fixed timer and cannot be cultivated, efficient collection usually relies on marking patches on the map and returning after the respawn period. Some players also use portal chains to move quickly between multiple mushroom-rich areas.
In practice, Mushroom is valued less for its immediate food value than for its versatility: it is a low-effort renewable ingredient, an early taming food, and a component in several important recipes. Keeping an eye on known spawn locations pays off throughout the game.
