Proustite Powder

Proustite powder is a crafting material found in the Ashlands. It is dropped by Lava Blobs and Unstable lava rocks, and can also be obtained as a residue after a lava orb explosion. It may additionally be found by destroying natural grausten stone structures.

Proustite powder is used in several Ashlands recipes, making it one of the key late-game materials for both building and combat utility. Its known uses include:

• Lava Lantern: 1 Flametal, 1 Proustite powder, 1 Sulfur
• Basalt Bomb x5: 1 Asksvin Hide, 1 Asksvin Bladder, 3 Proustite powder
• Explosive Payload: 2 Asksvin hide, 2 Sulfur, 2 Proustite powder
• Staff of Fracturing: crafted at a Galdr Table, level 2

Because it comes from hostile Ashlands enemies and destructible lava-related structures, Proustite powder is usually gathered while exploring dangerous terrain rather than from safe farming routes. If you plan to make Ashlands gear or furniture, it is worth collecting whenever you encounter Lava Blobs or unstable rock formations, since several recipes consume it in fairly small but important quantities.
