Raw Fish

Raw fish is a food ingredient obtained from caught fish. It is gathered by fishing with a fishing rod and fish bait, and fish can also be found near the shore in the Black Forest. Once obtained, it can be cooked on a Cooking Station or an Iron Cooking Station for 25 seconds to produce Cooked Fish; if left on the fire too long, it turns into coal.

Raw fish is also used as a crafting ingredient for other foods, and unlike most other meat-based ingredients, it must be cooked on a Cooking station first before it can be used in that way. It can also be used for decorative purposes.
