Poltorbgeist

Poltorbgeist is an orb in Peglin that appears as one of the special projectiles used by the game. It was introduced in the Demo Release and later received a version-specific fix in v0.5.56, when it was made to properly hit the slime boss during phase 2.

Its name is a portmanteau of “poltergeist” and “orb,” which matches its ghostly theme. Poltorbgeist also shares its projectile with Echorb when attacking enemies, so the two are visually linked in combat behavior.

• In v0.5.56, Poltorbgeist was adjusted so it can correctly connect with the slime boss in its second phase.
• The orb has been present since the Demo Release, making it one of the earlier special projectiles in the game.
• Because it shares a projectile with Echorb, it is easy to recognize as part of the same visual set during enemy attacks.
