Overview
Barber station is a buildable crafting station used to change a character’s hairstyle and beard. It becomes available after finding the Merchant, and unlike some merchant-related unlocks, no special quest completion is required. The Barber kit needed to craft it can be purchased from the Merchant for 600 gold.
When placed near a 
A few practical points stand out:
- It is primarily a styling station, letting the player change hair and beard appearance.
- The station is tied to merchant progression rather than biome progression, so it can be obtained relatively early once the Merchant is discovered.
- Because it functions as a Cauldron upgrade, it is worth placing close to your cooking setup instead of isolating it in a separate room.
- Its comfort bonus makes it slightly more useful than a purely decorative object, especially in compact bases where every comfort point matters.
The Barber station’s hairstyle options include the Braids of Strength, which is a reference to Pippi Longstocking, the famous Swedish character known for her extraordinary strength.
