Forge Bellows

Overview

To unlock Forge bellows, you need

Forge bellows is valuable because the Forge is the central station for producing stronger weapons, armor, and other equipment, and some structures also require a Forge nearby. Improving it expands your crafting progression without demanding expensive materials. Since this upgrade has no metal cost, it is a practical way to raise forge quality before you have a large supply of metal bars.
A few useful points:
- It only improves the Forge if it is placed close enough to it.
- It can be transported through Portals, unlike many metal-based upgrades.
- It requires a Workbench nearby at placement time.
- It uses Wood, Deer hide, and Chain, so it becomes available once those materials have been obtained.
- It is best installed indoors or in a covered workshop so it remains functional.
For players building a compact early base, Forge bellows is one of the easiest ways to support higher-tier crafting without expanding into a full metal-processing setup.
