Overview

Restorb is a consumable orb in Peglin that restores HP when used. It functions like other damage-dealing orbs in that its attack damage scales with the number of pegs struck, but its healed amount is independent of peg hits. At level 3, Restorb gains an additional effect that permanently increases the wielder’s maximum HP when used.

Restorb is typically chosen as an early- to mid-game healing option when stronger scaling healers are not available. It was introduced in v0.7.56 and has received balance adjustments since: the level 3 healing effect was slightly reduced in v0.8.13, and in v0.8.22 it was corrected so that the orb properly heals when it also increases max HP.

Practical notes and strategy:

  • Damage vs. healing: Restorb’s damage output scales with pegs hit like most orbs, so it can still serve as an offensive tool; however, the HP restored by Restorb does not scale with number of pegs struck.
  • Comparison to alternatives: Doctorb and Nosforbatu are generally superior healing orbs because their healing scales with peg hits, making them more effective in peg-dense shots. Restorb remains viable when those options are not available or when its base heal and potential max HP increase fit your build.
  • Level 3 milestone: The orb becomes significantly more valuable at level 3 due to the permanent Max HP increase; choose it when you anticipate prolonged survivability needs or when you can reliably upgrade orbs.
  • Use cases: Take Restorb when you need a reliable flat heal and/or want to invest in long-term HP through the level 3 effect. It pairs well with setups that consistently clear many pegs for damage while using other means (or the same orb at level 3) for survivability.
