Round Squirrel
Overview
Round Squirrel is an orb type in Peglin that acts as a summoned copy of another orb rather than a standard fired orb. When a Round Squirrel is produced by effects such as Summoning Circles, it creates additional instances of the orb that immediately apply their on-summon behavior. Round Squirrels themselves do not count as fired orbs for effects that trigger "when fired," and they generally behave like neutral 1/2 power orbs unless modified by other game systems.
Round Squirrel commonly appears as the result of

Round Squirrels can interact with other systems and relics in specific ways. They are affected by buffs that modify orbs generated by summoning effects; patch notes have fixed interactions where demon-type squirrel orbs fired by

Practical notes for play:
- Round Squirrel is best used when you want to replicate a one-shot or strong orb effect (Egg, Potion Ball, etc.) while preserving the original orb in your deck since the orb is summoned rather than consumed by firing.
- Do not expect "when fired" benefits from orbs spawned as Round Squirrels; design combos around their on-summon or passive effects instead.
Summoning Circle chaining is a powerful way to convert a single orb into many Round Squirrels; plan the sequence of circles and follow-up orbs to maximize value.
- Self-damage from certain orbs is avoided if those orbs are created via Round Squirrel rather than fired directly.
- Be aware of relic interactions and patch behavior: updates have adjusted how demon-type squirrels and summoned orb visuals behave, and some relics (Duplication Station) explicitly interact with Summoning Circles.
Round Squirrel ties into several related orb and relic behaviors in Peglin’s systems and is a core component of strategies that focus on summoned-orb multiplication and preserving single-use orb resources.
