Corewood is a basic wood resource obtained from pine trees and their stumps. It appears in the

Because of its role in so many structures, Corewood is one of the more useful construction materials once you begin working in and around the Black Forest. Log pieces and sharp stakes make it particularly valuable for defensive bases and fortified layouts, while the Campfire and Butcher's table expand practical base functions.
Corewood also has a refining use: it can be fed into a 


A few practical notes make gathering it more efficient:
- Pine trees are the main source, so the Black Forest is the best place to farm it.
- Pine cones let you establish your own supply by planting pines with a Cultivator.
- Stumps still yield Corewood, so clearing the area thoroughly increases the return.
- It is useful to stockpile early, since multiple common recipes consume it in significant amounts.
