Jade

Jade is one of the three gemstones available in the game and is used as a rare upgrade material for some Ashlands-era weapons. It can be found in chests inside Charred Fortresses, making it a loot item tied to late-game exploration rather than crafting or farming.

Its main use is to infuse certain high-level weapons at the Black Forge or Galdr Table, depending on the item. Weapons that are above level 1 are reset to level 1 when infused with a gemstone, so the effect replaces normal upgrade progression rather than stacking with it. Jade-infused weapons gain 10 bonus poison damage and have a 20% chance to immobilize a target for 10 seconds; an immobilized creature cannot move, but it can still attack if the player remains within range.

There is also an unused creature with the internal ID Goblin_Gem that can be spawned with the console and drops all three kinds of Ashlands gemstones, including Jade.
