Overview

Greydwarf eye is a common material dropped by Greydwarfs, Greydwarf shamans, and Greydwarf brutes in the Black Forest. It can also be found in barrels in and around Dvergr structures in the Mistlands and Ashlands. As a low-tier monster drop, it becomes one of the first renewable resources players stockpile in a new world.

Its main role is as a crafting ingredient and building component. Greydwarf eye is used to make the Portal and to support several later-game utility pieces, while also serving as an ingredient in food and mead production. It is also consumed as fuel by the Standing Blue-burning Iron Torch.

  • Used to craft the Portal.
  • Used to craft the Standing blue-burning iron torch.
  • Used to make Eyescream.
  • Used to make Frost Resistance Mead base.
  • Used as an upgrade material for the Copper Knife.
  • Can be used as fuel for the Standing blue-burning iron torch.

Because Greydwarfs are among the earliest enemies encountered in the Black Forest, Greydwarf eyes are usually easy to obtain in bulk. They are especially valuable once portals become available, since they are required to keep that travel network expanding, and they remain useful later for mead, food, and decoration-related crafting.
