Starfruit

Starfruit is a fruit crop that grows from Starfruit Seeds after 13 days. It has the second-highest sell price of any crop in the game, with only the Sweet Gem Berry selling for more. One Starfruit can be purchased each year at the Luau.

The crop progresses through five growth stages before it can be harvested. Its full growth time is 13 days, with the stages lasting 2, 3, 2, 3, and 3 days respectively. Because of this long growth cycle, Starfruit is typically treated as a high-value, long-term planting choice rather than a quick-turnaround crop.

Starfruit has several practical uses beyond direct selling:

• It is one of the options for the Community Center bundle that accepts multiple crops.
• It is required to build a Junimo Hut, which is purchased from the Wizard's Tower.
• It can be used in the Sewing Machine to create the dyeable Genie Pants.
• It can also be used as a yellow dye at the dye pots in Emily and Haley's house at 2 Willow Lane.
• Kent requests a Starfruit by mail on Summer 15 in year 2 as part of the "A Soldier's Star" quest.

Because Starfruit is among the most valuable crops in the game, it is especially useful when grown in large quantities or reserved for objectives that specifically need one. Its presence in both crafting and quest progression also makes it worth keeping at least a few on hand rather than selling every harvest immediately.
