Deluxe Speed-Gro

Deluxe Speed-Gro is a Fertilizer that increases crop growth speed by 25%, or by a total of 35% if the player has the Agriculturist profession. It can be crafted, purchased, or obtained from several seasonal and special sources, making it one of the stronger growth-boosting fertilizers available for general farming.

It can be placed on tilled soil before or after planting a seed, and it still works if applied at any stage of crop growth. However, it does not shorten the time between harvests for multi-harvest crops. Because it reduces a fixed number of days from each growth stage rather than applying a flat percentage to the remaining time, using it after a crop has already grown for several days will not fully recoup the time already spent. As a result, its actual effect on the remaining growth time is usually less dramatic than the listed 25% might suggest, especially when applied late.

Deluxe Speed-Gro is obtained from a variety of sources:

• Bought from Demetrius' shop at the Desert Festival for Calico Eggs
• Sometimes received from the Feast of the Winter Star
• Sometimes found in Mystery Boxes and Golden Mystery Boxes
• Produced by a Bone Mill

It is sold for 40g and crafts into 5 Deluxe Speed-Gro per recipe.

Deluxe Speed-Gro is not used in any bundles or quests. It can, however, be used in the Sewing Machine spool to create the dyeable High-Waisted Shirt. It also functions as an orange dye in the dye pots at Emily's and Haley's house, making it useful for tailoring and dyeing even when not needed for farming.
